WISH support the annual WIH Awards
Now in its seventh year, the Women In Housing Awards held in Manchester in early October is getting bigger and bigger and was an amazing opportunity to celebrate the achievements of women in the sector from all over the UK.
WISH Executive Director Nicola Dibb was one of the Judges and was in awe of the high standard of nominations
“All the shortlisted entrants that I judged were incredibly impressive in lots of different ways. It was a very difficult job to choose the winners! The evening itself was amazing – such a buzz in the room. I was especially pleased to see nominations from both the private sector and the public as well as entrants from all over the UK – from south west England to Scotland! So much female talent in one room it was brilliant”
There were many WISH members present on the evening including WISH North East Board member and CIH Reginal Manager Stephanie Kelley and also :
Nikki Waud, Chair of WISH North Wales who was nominated for Best Board Member and
Anna Keys, Associate with Calford Seaden, WISH National Sponsor who was nominated for Consultant of the Year.
Sadly neither of them won this time – but enjoyed the evening of celebration non the less.
A special mention for Hannah Harvey, Executive Director from Saffron Housing and WISH East Board member who swept to victory winning Professional of the Year. Huge Congratulations to Hannah from everyone at WISH
“it was great to see Hannah collect her award – so well deserved and a little boost for WISH East as they grow their profile in the region. All in all it was a wonderful event and special thanks go to WISH National Sponsor Paul Bridge and Civitas who sponsored an Award with WISH which included a table. It was very generous of them and I know that they also enjoyed the evening, being at the Awards for the first time” Nicola Dibb.
