The Community Safety Officer role is part of the Customer Experience Team, which encompasses Customer Experience and Engagement, Income and Specialist Housing and Housing Services.

The team strives to deliver excellence in services to customers, management of our homes and sustainable communities. As an integral part of this team you’ll be able to draw on and contribute to our enthusiasm and commitment to our objective of providing high quality, affordable homes that are safe, warm and secure and in supporting our customers to live well in their communities.

 

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Actioning cases of anti-social behaviour through investigation, and case management in accordance with 54North Homes’ policies and procedures.
  • Developing and delivering our offer, processes and approach to Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) in response to customer needs, policy and legislation.
  • Working closely with housing managers and others across the business to support the well-being and sustainability of communities
  • Utilising expertise and where relevant managing issues such as access requirements for landlord compliance
  • Achieving targets, KPIs and objectives in relation to ASB

  • Community Safety Officer
  • Permanent, full time role
  • Salary is £32,355 per annum (pending benchmarking) plus an annual car payment of £2,260
  • Location: We have offices in Leeds (LS6 2TN) and York (YO32 9LG) where you will be required to attend, along with visiting our properties and some home working
  • Regular travel will be required.
  • 37 Hours per week with some homeworking available/flexible working, we would consider applications for candidates wishing to work part time/job share
  • Generous benefits package including 26 days annual leave on commencement rising to 31 days after 3 years’ service, occupational pension, health cash plan, and birthday leave, with the option of a flexible pot towards enhanced benefits.
