The Company SNG (Sovereign Network Group) was formed in October 2023 through the merger of Sovereign and Network Homes. Our purpose is to provide good, affordable homes: the foundation for a better life, and our vision is thriving communities, over generations. We provide over 84,000 homes and invest in communities across the South of England, including London, as well as aiming to create thousands of new affordable homes every year.

This role is based with Sovereign Network Homes which covers London and the East and is a subsidiary of SNG. But publicly all colleagues are part of one SNG. We believe culture is everything and we work hard to create a positive, can-do, solution focussed environment so our colleagues can be their best. We have outstanding levels of engagement amongst our people. We’re dedicated to making sure that our workplace champions equality, diversity and inclusion. We’ve pledged to ensure our organisation reflects the diversity of our residents because we know this strengthens trust and allows us to provide better customer service.

We were a founding partner of Leadership 2025, an initiative to increase the ethnic diversity of housing’s leadership; and we hold Pledge Pioneer status for House Proud, a scheme designed to ensure Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Queer residents can enjoy their homes without fear of discrimination.

We’re a Disability Confident Employer and also part of WISH (Network for Women working in social housing). We’re also dedicated to the wellbeing of employees with various initiatives and workshops including regular yoga and mindfulness sessions for those who wish to take part. We also have a dedicated group of mental health first aiders.

We support a blended approach to work, from home and in the office. SNG’s London and East operations have a modern office in Wembley Park, an area which is undergoing on of the most exciting transformations in London with Wembley Stadium, Boxpark and the London Designer Outlet right on the doorstep.

Our Hertford office is in a grade II listed art deco building in the centre of town. We’re driven by our social purpose, our customers at the heart of what we do. This is an exciting time to join a fledgling Sovereign Network Group (SNG) which aims to bring the best of our two predecessor housing associations, Network Homes and Sovereign which merged on 1 October 2023.
