We’re on the lookout for a Property Repairs Services Manager to join the believe housing team on a permanent basis.

Our offices are based in Seaham and Bishop Auckland and although we work flexibly, it is envisaged that this role will require both an offsite and onsite presence as per business need when required.


about the role:

The Property Repairs Services Manager will work in collaboration with the senior management team to ensure that Property Repairs delivers an excellent customer experience including high levels of performance and productivity, great, consistent service delivery, innovation and continuous improvement whilst maximising value and bringing to life the vision and values of the organisation.



The successful candidate will:

  • Provide inspirational, dynamic leadership and management to the Property Repairs Services Team and wider team.
  • Be responsible for managing the service delivery of the Property Repairs Services Team, including the effective management of all resources required to deliver excellent services whilst optimising performance, cost and risk.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and regulations ensuring that safe working practices are managed and embedded in day-to-day operations. To manage and report information on commercial activities and provide robust contract management practices.
  • To effectively manage a team of specialists overseeing our business intelligence working across repairs, operation of our property repairs systems, our supply chain function, high performing fleet provisions, and ongoing project management.
  • To ensure staff operate safely by overseeing health and safety activities related to the Property Repairs Directorate including the oversight and delivery of mandatory training.
