This post is based at Link Housing's Paisley office. However, hybrid working is available with this role and flexible working options may be considered.

Salary £38,597.00 - £43,814.00 per annum (dependent on skills and experience)

 

The Role:

Housing Officers are responsible for the delivery of quality housing, estate and property management services to our customers.

The postholder will ensure that the allocation sign ups and settling in visits are conducted in accordance with Link's policies and procedures, manage, report and carry out abandonments/evictions in accordance with procedures and undertake regular annual tenancy visits. The postholder will also be required to ensure effective arrears management and take action in line with policy and procedure, as well as actioning and resolving anti-social behaviour complaints. Based in Paisley, a significant proportion of work will be out-with the office environment, post holders will be required to hold a current driver's licence and have their own transport during business hours.

 

About You:

You will need to have an excellent standard of education combined with knowledge of, and commitment to, customer care, tenant participation and equal opportunities. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a working knowledge and awareness of housing legislation, choice based lettings, Housing Benefit and Universal Credit. It is also essential that you have experience of all aspects of dealing with wide range of housing management issues, in particular arrears control, void management, Anti Social Behaviour and tenant participation as well as demonstratable experience of working in partnership with other voluntary agencies or professional bodies.
