First Choice Homes Oldham (FCHO) are seeking a talented, data focused, individual to lead our business intelligence team.
You will be able to lead the organisation and set the strategy and shape the delivery of a high-quality Business Intelligence (BI) service for FCHO, which meets the defined reporting requirements of the organisation and is aligned to the Corporate Plan

• Lead with the organisation to set the strategy and shape the delivery of a high-quality Business Intelligence (BI) service for FCHO, which meets the defined reporting requirements of the organisation and is aligned to the Corporate Plan.
• Lead, motivate and develop a team of Business Intelligence Analysts in the delivery of a high quality, cost effective BI and customer insight gathering function.
• Contribute to the creation of a data-driven culture, including the building of related competency and data literacy across the organisation.
• Cultivate strong working relationships with colleagues in all teams across the organisation with a view to providing support, insight and identifying solutions/creating best practice to understand their business requirements and to ensure that the BI service meets required standards and facilitating the coordination of results to the relevant teams.
• Establish and utilise an FCHO Performance Management Framework which efficiently aligns performance across individuals and teams with strategic and operational goals.
• Act as FCHO’s performance information expert, by developing and maintaining an ongoing working knowledge of current performance across the business, working with performance indicator owners to understand the drivers and barriers of current performance.
• Oversee the development and implementation of business intelligence tools and systems which seamlessly link data collection, storage, retrieval and analysis.
• Partner with the organisation in leading the design and deployment of effective data visualisation and reporting solutions to support business requirements at all levels.
• Provide a business partnering service to the organisation, ensuring the BI team provides a cost-effective balance of insight and assurance.
• Lead the process of ensuring data quality is developed and maintained across systems so FCHO achieves the aim of having one version of the truth across all its data management systems.
• Ensure FCHO meets its regulatory and statutory obligations in terms of data returns including, but not limited to, the annual SDR.
• Maintain a strong external network to ensure appropriate sharing of knowledge and best practice, proportion benchmarking of performance and continued personal and professional development.
• Provide relevant monthly performance reporting to the Executive Management Team, Directors and Heads of Service, providing commentary on performance against the metrics aligned to delivery of the Corporate Plan.
• Working with the Executive Management Team to provide a half-yearly report on progress against the Corporate Plan to FCHO’s Board.
